Oliver Brooks has been chosen by the Liberal Democrats as their candidate for the local council by-election on 3rd July.

Oliver is a 22 year old graduate in policy studies. He was born locally, in the now threatened Queen Mary's Hospital maternity unit and has lived in the area all his life. He works as a market researcher on a national project looking at people's views on major political issues such as post office closures, health services, crime and public transport. He is a keen Charlton fan.

Oliver said: "On 3rd July local residents will have an opportunity to elect a local voice to stick up for them on Bexley Council."
