As the price of car parking in Bexleyheath has rocketed, councillors enjoy free parking in the town centre.

Liberal Democrat campaigner Oliver Brooks says: "Parking at the Albion Road Car Park has rocketed from 20p to 80p an hour in the last couple of years, while in the car park next door councillors park for free.

"When councillors are setting parking charges it is one rule for them, and another for shoppers."
