Conservatives neglect Christchurch12.49.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Wed 25th Jun 2008 After 10 years of Conservatives representing Christchurch, our area is being neglected. Liberal Democrat campaigner Oliver Brooks says: "Every road I walk down in our area has cracked paving stones, residents complain to me that the roads are full of potholes, footpaths are strewn with litter and graffiti, our open spaces are under threat. "People ask me what their Council Tax is being spent on if the Conservative council don't even look after the basic things to keep our area a pleasant place to live. "I will fight for the council to give the best value for money while not neglecting our area."
