"Since the Conservative Council changed the bin collections, rubbish sits for days as collections are missed. Bins filled with maggots over the summer and nappies sit for two weeks. It is a health hazard and a disgrace"

"Many local Council Tax payers are fed up with repairs not being carried out by the Council, such as this broken street sign . They want to know where their money is going."

"Bexley Borough used to be one of the best in London for keeping streets clean, but many residents complain of litter on local streets and dog mess on pavements."

"Many local people have raised the issue of the Tesco and Coop stores in Welling closing this winter. As the former Lib Dem spokesperson for Local Economy on Bromley Council, I fought for shopping centres like Welling to get a fair deal from the council."
